IML is actively seeking Registered Nurses who have a USCIS Approval Notice with a Priority Date. Your Priority Date can be current or upcoming. This includes nurses who may have already received their Embassy Interview date, but no longer have an employer. We are accepting nurses in all specialties, but especially in OR, ICU, Telemetry/Stepdown and ER. If you are a nurse, or know one, who has lost their petitioner or U.S. hospital contract due to retrogression, we are very interested in speaking with you. If you meet our requirements and are accepted, your petition can be recaptured and re-assigned to a new petitioner with no loss of your Priority Date or NVC status.

 To qualify you must:

Have at least 2 years of bedside nursing experience in a hospital with

         at least 150 beds.

You should not have been away from bedside nursing for more than 1-2 years.
Nurses with experience abroad are welcomed.

Please e-mail Evans Clements at eclements@imlhr.com for more information and for the list of documents needed to apply.

Vanderbilt School of Nursing

International Medlink, Inc. is pleased to announce that it's International Nurse Transition and Examination Study Course is now available online for nurses, educational institutions and training centers. The course was developed exclusively for International MedLink by the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, a Top 20 U.S. nursing school, and provides one of the most comprehensive curriculums available. It covers all facets of nursing practice and is presented in easy to use video lectures by Vanderbilt School of Nursing professors and instructors. Until now the course has only been available to IML nurses in the Philippines.

The IML course has been designed as a supplement to the nurse's existing knowledge and to provide them with information on the procedures, policies and duties expected of a registered nurse in the U.S. and other western healthcare systems. The goal is to prepare the nurse in the best way possible, so to decrease the typical hospital orientation time and make the nurse's transition into the new hospital smoother. The course will also familiarize the students with medical English terminology, procedures and pharmacology common in U.S. and western hospitals. This will allow the nurse to start working more independently in a shorter length of time. In addition to assisting nurses with their transition into the U.S. or other western healthcare system, the course also serves as preparation for the CGFNS qualifying examination and the NCLEX-RN/PN examinations. The curriculum was designed with these examinations in mind and includes practice tests to reinforce the subject matter.
